Quality engineering on the PC port of Halo — a title that became one of the best-selling, most influential FPS games of all time, with 5M+ copies sold by November 2005.
Bungie's break-out hit and Xbox launch title, Halo, made the leap to PC under Microsoft. As Software Test Engineer I was responsible for overall quality — UI, audio, gameplay mechanics, the works. Bug life cycles, regression, black-box testing inside a core team. Halo went on to be praised as one of the best and most important video games of all time, ranked the fourth-best first-person shooter ever made by IGN, and inspired a series of novels, comic books, and live-action shorts.
